I bought a Betta fish, "Rick Asspatch" three and a half years ago to brighten up my office and provide some inner zen. It worked, fish are extremely soothing. Along with the fish, I also purchased a tank, food, plant decor and a light to keep him warm, best 20 bucks I ever spent, much cheaper than therapy!
This week Ricker passed on to the big puddle in the sky. He will be missed.

Oh Kate, I'm sorry to hear about Rick Asspatch..I know he will be missed. And I'm sure he is, at this very moment, regaling the other fishes in the big pond in the sky about the many (surely!) hilarious stories that he has of the time he spent on your desk :)!
I love that you posted a picture of a fish..that isn't your fish :0) Soo sorry for the loss of your asspatch.

Poor Rick. Glad he was a good friend up until now though.
